Dana Meadows and Robert “Bob” McKeown are both participants for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Team in Training, Team Deep Purple, Babylon Village residents, parents with young children, and active community members.
Dana Meadows joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2005. She has raised over $25,000 for the LLS to honor Robert Mancuso, her father and patient hero. Dana is currently the Long Island Mentor Director.. Dana has competed in various triathlon distances racing for those who can’t.
Bob McKeown joined the LLS in 2008. Bob is fundraising and racing in honor of cancer survivors Ryan Rafter (Village Resident) and in Memory of Janet Fabian who recently passed from ovarian cancer. Janet was the mother of South Shore TRI Coach athlete Chelsea Fabian. Chelsea has dedicated this season to racing in honor of her mom while raising money in a fight against cancer.
Together Bob and Dana are great partners. Their personal goals are to raise needed funds, spread further awareness, and support their charities.
