Dana Meadows and Robert “Bob” McKeown are both participants for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Ironman Foundation, and Babylon Village residents with young children! Bob and Dana have been friends since High School and stay active in the community to make this world a better place. Your support of this event is greatly appreciated.
Dana Meadows joined the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in 2005. She has raised over $140,000 for the LLS to honor Robert Mancuso, her father and patient hero. Dana is currently the Long Island Mentor Director.. Dana has competed in various triathlon distances racing for those who can’t.
Bob McKeown is the owner of South Shore TRI Coach and a local teacher. Bob is fundraising and racing the 2017 Ironman World Championships in honor of cancer survivor Ryan Rafter (Village Resident). In 2016 alone, Bob raised $30,000 for the Ironman Foundation. The Ironman Foundation made financial donations to residents on Long Island affected by Hurricane Sandy. Bob and his team of coaches will also coach over 200 athletes at Ironman events around the world. The Ironman Foundation is a non-profit charity that gives back to these local communities. We are excited to have an entire community behind our mission of supporting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Ironman Foundation.
Together Bob and Dana are great partners. Their personal goals are to raise needed funds, spread further awareness, and support their charities.
